Plant daffodils where you yanked out all the worn ones
And re-root pansies in the front porch planter:
Whether or not Paris is bloodied on its grey autumn stones
Whether or not we dig ourselves into a war
That will burst in the spring.
The heart of my vocational life is to bear authentic and courageous witness.

Breakthroughs, often triggered both by our blind spots and our insights, merge together to offer lessons that are at once painful and illuminating.
